Sabian Provides Continued Support To The Little Kids Rock Music Education Program
Sabian, a sponsor of Little Kids Rock for five years, has provided the organization, which is dedicated to bringing free musical instruments and music instruction to underserved schools across the U.S., with hundreds of cymbal sets over that span. In continued support of musical education in America’s schools, the cymbal maker has now donated a hundred SBr cymbal sets to Little Kids Rock.
Sabian VP of marketing Stacey Montgomery-Clark says, “Sabian is proud to support the Little Kids Rock initiative and David Wish’s dedication to bringing music education back to schools. We here at Sabian believe that including music education in a child’s academic curriculum is invaluable to their development and fosters a lifetime appreciation for music.”
David Wish, founder and executive director of Little Kids Rock, was on hand at the winter NAMM show to accept the donation and provide insight into the childhood music initiative. To date it’s estimated that Little Kids Rock has reached 85,000 underserved children in grades K–12.
